Return Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases from Franco Cumini (“we,” “us,” “our”) via https://vxubl.com/, and complies with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU) and Italian consumer regulations. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below, tailored to protect our handcrafted jewellery pieces during return transit.
 

1. Return Eligibility (EU & International)

 
To be eligible for a return or refund, your jewellery must meet all of the following criteria:
 
  • Return request is submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery (EU consumer law mandatory right) – for international orders, 21 calendar days of delivery.
  • Jewellery is unused, unworn and in its original condition: no scratches, tarnish, damage, or signs of wear; all clasps, fastenings and finishes intact.
  • Jewellery is returned in its original packaging (pouches, boxes, tags) – all original branding and packaging must be included.
  • A valid order number and proof of delivery (e.g., courier tracking number) are provided.
 
Important Note: Handcrafted jewellery may have minor natural variations in finish/material—these are not defects and do not qualify for a return.
 

2. Non-Returnable Items

 
The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds under any circumstances (EU/Italian consumer law exceptions):
 
  • Worn, damaged or altered jewellery (e.g., bent hoops, tarnished metal, broken clasps).
  • Jewellery returned without its original packaging, tags or pouches.
  • Custom or personalized jewellery pieces (if applicable).
  • Sale/clearance items marked as “Final Sale” on the Site (indicated by bold pricing/label).
  • Earrings with pierced posts (EU health/sanitary regulation – non-returnable for hygiene reasons).
 

3. Return Process (MANDATORY – No Unauthorized Returns)

 
All returns require prior written authorization from our customer service team—unauthorized returns will be rejected and returned to sender at the customer’s cost. To initiate a return:
 
  1. Email us at service@vxubl.com with the subject line: Return Request – [Your Order Number]. Include your full name, order details, reason for return and high-resolution photos of the jewellery and original packaging (inside and out).
  2. We will review your request within 2 business days and provide a unique Return Authorization (RA) number, official return shipping address (Premariacco, Udine) and EU customs documentation (for international returns).
  3. Package the jewellery securely in its original packaging (add extra protective padding for international shipping) and write the RA number clearly on the outside of the shipping package.
  4. Ship the return via a trackable, insured courier/carrier (e.g., Poste Italiane, DHL) – the customer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs, insurance fees and EU customs duties/taxes (no free return shipping, except for defective items).
 

4. Refund Processing

 
  • Approved Returns: Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 business days after we receive, inspect and verify the returned jewellery.
  • Refund Amount: Refunds cover the full product purchase price (in EUR/USD, per your original payment). Original shipping costs, customs duties/taxes and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Refund Posting Time: Varies by payment provider—credit/debit card refunds (3–10 business days), PayPal refunds (instant), bank transfers (5–15 business days for international orders).
  • No Cash Refunds: All refunds are issued to the original payment method (compliant with EU/Italian consumer law). For EU orders, refunds are in EUR (the official currency of our brand).
 

5. Defective/Damaged/Incorrect Items (Our Error)

 
If you receive a jewellery piece that is defective, damaged in transit or incorrect (our direct error):
 
  1. Notify us within 3 business days of delivery via email at service@vxubl.com with photos of the item, original packaging and shipping label/courier documentation.
  2. We will arrange a full refund or free replacement (if available) at no cost to you—we will provide a prepaid return shipping label (for EU orders) or reimburse all return shipping/insurance costs (for international orders).
  3. Refunds or replacements are processed within 2 business days of receiving your claim—we handle all courier/carrier claims for damaged items on your behalf.
 

6. Exchanges

 
We offer product exchanges only for defective/incorrect items (our error). For all other exchange requests (e.g., size/design change), you must:
 
  1. Initiate a return for the original jewellery piece (per Section 3) and receive an approved refund.
  2. Place a new order for the desired piece on the Site—we do not hold inventory for exchanges, and product availability is not guaranteed.
 

7. EU Consumer Law Right of Withdrawal

 
For EU customers, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of delivery, without giving any reason—this right is in addition to our return policy, and complies with Directive 2011/83/EU. To exercise this right, follow the return process in Section 3 and reference “EU Right of Withdrawal” in your request.
